1103 Paulsen imparts good drought tolerance and is suited to acid soils. Quite tolerant of soil salinity. Some variation in performance with good growth and yirlds in the Barossa Valley and in the hot, irrigated regions, but lower vigour and yields in cooler regions of Victoria.
